The Society was formed in 1924. Since then we have exhibited at least once, but usually twice yearly.
Our first exhibition was at the Worthing Museum and Art Gallery. The 90th Anniversary show was also held there in 2014 opened by the Mayor and Mayoress of Worthing.
Members often belong to other societies and groups and regularly exhibit in galleries and venues in London and the South of England.
We are a diverse group of artists who aim to produce a high standard of art. Our work is of varying subject matter, technique and medium.
Some members open their own homes or take part in the many festivals across Sussex. These include Adur, Arundel, Artwave (Lewes), Brighton, Eastbourne, Henfield and Worthing etc.
Exhibitions may include demonstrations and workshops. Archive and past information may also be on display.
The aim of the Society is to show inspiring and contemporary work with their exhibitions for the future.
